The outline of the history of Indian arts (Indus Valley civilisation - beginning of the 21st century). Presentation of the most important periodical phases of the art development and their main artefacts in a broadly conceived cultural context. Discussing the basic terminology of the Indian arts and aesthetics, characteristic of different regions of India and ther arts in the historical and socio-cultural context; problems of modern and contemporary art in India.
