Proseminar 3600-7-IN2-PI1
The proseminar is aimed at broadening and deepening students’ knowledge pertaining to essential aspects of literary and socio-cultural phenomena in South Asia, acquired by students during the 1st year of studies, as well as developing skills at analysing and synthesising them. To serve this purpose, firstly, student’s own work on a chosen subject (the subject can be chosen by a student and accepted by the teacher or it can be proposed by the teacher) and regular presentations of the results of this work to all participants of the seminar are done, and, secondly, reading, analysis and interpretation of selected works is conducted.

Assessment criteria
– attendance control (2 unjustified absences and up to 3 justified absences with medial proof)
– continuous assessment and activity (participation in discussion);
– semester paper on a subject accepted by the tutor.
