An outline of the history of regional literature (Bengali/Hindi/Tamil) in modern India covers the most important changes and phenomena in the literature of a selected language and region, with a focus on contemporary literature of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The course combines lectures with seminars and requires students to do their own work and actively participate in class discussions.
