First Language and Culture of India 3600-7-IN1-IJKIT2
Practical study of an Indian language (Bengali / Hindi / Sanskrit / Tamil) from the intermediate to advanced level. Learning modern languages (Bengali / Hindi / Tamil) is based primarily on conversations, and in the case of Sanskrit on original text readings and their recitation.
The main aim of the course is to deepen the students' language skills in the practical knowledge of the language they study, mastering more complex grammatical structures and the continuous expansion of the vocabulary.
In the case of modern languages (Bengali / Hindi / Tamil) classes include:
Practicing conversational skills at the advanced level;
Oral exercises;
Answering the questions and asking questions by students;
Reading and discussing literary and press texts;
listening comprehension exercises (live speech, dictation, audio-video).
In the case of Sanskrit classes include reading of original texts at the advanced level and their recitation.
