Bachelor’s Seminar in Egyptology 3600-7-EG3-SLE1
The aim of the seminar is preparing students for the individual preparation of their BA thesis. The participants will discuss selected problems concerning Ancient Egyptian culture and present them afterwards in written form.

The student should
Knowledge:
- know the discussed aspects of the culture of Ancient Egypt;
- know the state of research in the given field of Ancient Egypt;
- know and understand basic methods of analysis used in egyptology;
Skills:
- find, analyze and use the data from different sources;
- have skills for preparing the seminar papers;
- be able to interpret the main concepts of the culture of Ancient Egypt using the linguistic/philological analysis;
- know how to present the problems of the culture of Ancient Egypt in Polish;
- know how to use internet tools in Polish and foreign languages;
- be able to formulate own opinions and conclusions;
- be able to discuss the subject using the opinions of others;
Competence:
- understand the need of learning during the life.
