Egyptological Proseminar 3600-7-EG2-P(L)
The proseminar gives the introduction to the methodology of the scientific researches and prepares to independent work with the original material and scientific literature. During the classes the students will prepare the papers about the particular aspects of Egyptian culture, translations of the Egyptian texts with commentary and short reviews.
The types of the scientific literature, the rules of the redaction of the scientific texts will be presented.

The student should:
Knowledge:
- know the discussed aspects of the culture of Ancient Egypt;
Skills:
- find, analyze and use the data from different sources;
- have skills for preparing the seminar papers;
- be able to formulate the subject of the ba thesis, find and search the source material, discuss the theoretical approaches;
- know how to use internet tools in Polish and foreign languages;
- be able to formulate his own opinions and conclusions;
Competence:
- understand the need of learning during the life
