History of ancient Egypt 3600-7-EG2-DSE(Z)
The lecture gives an outline of the history of ancient Egypt, with a special focus on pharaonic times, ie. from the formation of the Egyptian state in the 4th millennium BC through the conquest of the country by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC. The political history is an structural axis of the lecture and a starting point to discuss selected problems of culture and art, including the results of Polish archaeological and Egyptological research.
