The aim of these classes is to make students acquainted with advanced everyday Pashto vocabulary, as well as vocabulary specific for certain relevant fields (e.g.medical vocabulary, military vocabulary).

Pashto reader presents selections of modern written Pashto, with extensive notes and guides to comprehension.
Six different genres are exemplified: essay, articles, stories, poetry, “public” Pashto (street signs etc…) And represents pronunciation throughout the series.
Pashto originals contain 6 units and present the passages of the reader in computer scans of their originals, to provide the student with practice of dealing with Pashto as it actually appears.

Consist of 14 lessons,
Each lesson corresponding to two units of beginning and intermediate Pashto which provide additional speaking and listening practice on the material contained in the units, as well as exposure to different dialects.
The lessons have been recorded, a set of cassettes for the advancement of language learning which are not available at the time.
