MA course of indology 3600-3-IN4-SI2A
The seminar prepares the participants to write an MA thesis in the field of Indology. The aim is to analyse various themes related to classical Indian culture (depending on the subjects of respective MA theses) on the basis of selected source texts in Sanskrit. Detailed subjects discussed will depend on the participants’ interests and the subjects of MA theses. The subject of MA thesis has to be approved the teacher.

The capacity to analyse discussed topics, the acquisition of competence in terms of methodology, reference and substance required to write MA thesis.
Assessment criteria
Attendance, regular preparation for classes and participation in discussions, including preparations of seminar reports/talks, progress in MA thesis.
