First Indian language - Bengali 3600-3-IN2-JB4.3
The classes are addressed to the students who acquired language skills on the elementary level. The aim of the classes is further development of language skills, especially vocabulary and grammar. The exercises will focus on writing (basic narrative texts, dialogues); reading; pronunciation; speaking. The materials used during the classes include: handbooks, audio materials, handouts and other materials prepared by the teacher.

Learning outcomes
The student:
- is familiar with vocabulary covering everyday life issues
- understands conversations on the wide rage of topics related to daily life;
- can speak confidently and participate in a conversation;
- can translate simple non-technical texts from Bengali into Polish and from Polish into Bengali.
Assessment criteria
- continuous assessment
- obligatory homeworks (5 in a semester)
- short written tests
- attendance control
- oral test at the end of the semester
