Chinese language and culture -Grammar 3600-19-SIW2-G4
This course helps students understand the grammar problems comprised in the two textbooks used in other Chinese Language and Culture courses:
- Dangdai Zhongwen kecheng 當代中文課程 2 (L.8-15)
- HSK 3 (STANDARD COURSE) 标准教程
- HSK 4 (L.1-2) (STANDARD COURSE) 标准教程
The teachers use the above-mentioned coursebooks as well as their own materials. The course acknowledges the differences between the coursebook from mainland China and the Taiwanese coursebook.

Assessment criteria
The grade is based on the results of written tests organized during the semster.
96%-100% 5
90%-95% 4+
80%-89% 4
70%-79% 3+
60%-69% 3

Mandatory attendance. Unless they can present a doctor's note (or another valid document proving they were not able to participate in classes), students can miss no more than 4 out of every 30 hours of classes during any semester. If the sum of missed classes (including periods of the student's medical leaves or other justified absences) exceeds one-half of the total number of classes, the student may be denied credit for the course. Students are obliged to present the documents excusing them from participation in classes within 7 days after the last day of their absence.
