Social and cultural issues of Japan 3600-19-JAW1-ZSKJ2
The purpose of this course is to equip students with a basic understanding of Japanese culture and society, as well as to show them a geographical and regional variety of Japan. A wide range of issues will be introduced in each class. In the first semester the lecture will be focused on the basic information on physical and social geography of Japan. The second semester covers topics concerning the culture of every day life in Japan.
