Aim of the laboratory class is to develop students' listening and pronunciation abilities, to enhance their knowledge of Japanese vocabulary and grammar, to refine conversation skills by exercises based on audio teaching materials.

Prerequisites (description)

Classes are focused on developing students' listening and pronunciation abilities, to enhance their knowledge of Japanese vocabulary and grammar, to refine conversation skills by exercises based on audio teaching materials.

Assessment criteria

Evaluation will be based on:
class attendance (at least 50 percent in the semester)
in case of absence, sick leave should be presented
up to two absences without sick leave are possible
preparing before classes, activities during classes
Depending on the circumstances the final exam can be conducted at the end of the semester or during the exam session.
Written (70 percent) and oral (30 percent).
