Philosophy of technology 3501-P38-12
The aim of proseminar will be the introduction of the problem of theoretical reflections over technology - its history, ontology and phenomenology. Beggining with an analysis og Greek`s notion of techne the analysis will be orientated on the notions of: mimesis, poiesis, art, mechanism, automaton, which understanding is necessary for proper analytical perspective for modern work division in a sense of work and reproduction from art in an artistic meaning. Because of that there is a possibility of conceptualization of an invention and thinking in categories of mechanization first of human body, second of the social life structures. The connection of mechanization with social-political problems and the understanding of it, gives chance for presentation phenomenons like social contract, utopia, the imaginations of a state as an authomaton of a factory, power and administration. Radicalization of the notion of techne changes also an ontological status of subject and inserts the necessity of reflection over categories like homo faber, animal laborans, creator or worker, but labor, work, management too.
