Deliberations and deliberative poll 3500-JIS-DELiSD
During the classes, we will define deliberation as a specific form of social communication, we will define the conditions conducive to it, both in normative and practical terms, in relation to the Polish context.
Meetings will include:
(1) discussions on texts introducing the issues of deliberation, social consultations and the Deliberative Poll,
(2) a review of case studies on the use of deliberation in solving social problems at the local and supra-local level,
(3) assessment of the structure and content of information materials received by the participants of the deliberations, e.g. because of their impartiality,
(4) discussion of particular deliberative norms in relation to the elements of the Deliberative Poll procedure.
