Practical French language learning - II2 - Written translation into Polish 3304-2D2O-PNJF-TP
Classes are addressed to second-year students of Stage 2 interested not only in didactic or instrumental approach to language phenomena. Both issues of semantic equivalence on the lexical, syntactic and pragmatic levels as well as inter-personal and discursive coherence will be investigated. Examples of metaliterary statements (historical essay, theoretical and literary thesis) or narrative ones will be followed by species restrictions and ideological, aesthetic and logical presuppositions etc., not appearing in single and bilingual dictionaries, and determining the scope of the translation strategy appropriate for a given text.
Classes aim to include sensitization of future didactics or the adepts of the "art" of translation with the problem of the lack of semantic congregation of the translated text (and, as a consequence, the lack of its readability), with the apparent syntactic correctness of individual sentences.
