Translation into Polish 3304-2D1O-TRJP-TP
The course is a practical one; the work consists on individual or group transation from French into Polish. It permits the students to upgrade their translation skills, to put into use their theoretical knowledge of strategies and techniques od translation, of faults in translation, of translating cultural elements in specialized texts. The programme includes linguistic correctness, the knowledge of Polish in use and elements of lexicography.

K_W09 The students are aware of the function of language in social and intercultural communication.
K_U11 The students can correctly translate into Polish different kinds of texts.
K_K02 The students know how to collaborate with members of his group, discuss problems, find appropriate solutions.
Assessment criteria
The course ends with a grade.
Are subject to evaluation:
- activity, boing prepared - translation in groups, short homeworks
- one paper: an individual translation task, a longer text, known from the beginning of the semester.
