Students know and understand:

K_W05: to an advanced degree the main issues in general literary studies, French and Quebec;
K_W09: to an advanced degree, the principles of analysis and interpretation of texts belonging to different functional styles of the French language, with particular emphasis on narrative and dramatic texts;
K_W10: to an advanced degree, selected facts, processes and phenomena from the culture and history of the countries of the French-speaking cultural area, especially from French and Quebec literature of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Students are able to:

K_U05: plan and prepare oral presentations in French, referring to basic theoretical approaches appropriate to literary studies, especially in the context of migrant literature;
K_U06: prepare a written paper in French, referring to the knowledge acquired during the conversion course and acquired during independent research;

The student is ready to:

K_K03: relate respectfully to the speech of fellow students in the class;
K_K04: take care of the cultural heritage, especially in relation to French and Quebec culture;
K_K06: ask pertinent questions and respond appropriately to group social situations.
