The voice of citizens in French contemporary public discourse 3304-1DZXW-KJ-16
This seminar will focus on the discourse of collective action, i.e. manifests, protest letters, petitions, slogans accompanying manifestations. We will analysis linguistic forms of expressing among others protest, indignation, polemic with power and ways of argumentation depending of type of discourse. An important issue will also be the analysis of the discursive construction of a citizens’ ethos and the strategies of the legitimacy of the citizens’ words .
