(in Polish) Seminarium licencjackie: Uczenie się i nauczanie języka specjalistycznego 3304-1DZ3O-SL-036
The seminar focuses on issues related to teaching and
learning specialized language in the light of contemporary research
in language teaching. Participants will become familiar with literature on
languages for specialized purposes (LSP), teaching models
used in vocational and academic education, and processes of developing
communicative competence in a professional environment. Both the theoretical
foundations of LSP teaching and practical strategies for developing language
skills in task-based and professional situations are analyzed.
The seminar also includes an overview of current educational trends,
such as the task-based approach, learner-centeredness, action-based learning,
the use of technology, forms of assessment that develop
learner autonomy, and the new roles of teachers and learners in foreign language teaching
. An important element of the seminar work is the preparation of a
bachelor's thesis – from choosing a topic and formulating a research question,
through selecting the appropriate methodology, to data analysis and
presentation of results.
