Practical French - Integrated Competences 3304-1DZ1O-PNKZ-039
The aim of the course is to improve the ability to understand spoken and written texts, expressions and broaden vocabulary to achieve effective and free, yet correct and adequate communication situation at the intermediate level.
Science mainly involves listening to and reading documents contained in the presented literature and authentic press articles, radio and television programs in the following thematic areas (eg stereotypes and French symbols, travel, work, media, social and political life).

Learning outcomes
After two semesters of study, the student has language competence at the B2/B2+ level,
and thus:
- knows selected elements of the cultural, social and economic life of modern France,
- is able to communicate fluently, constructing shorter (participation in a discussion) or longer (presentation of a problem, summary of a broadcast or an article) statements, using the language register appropriate to the situation and taking care of the coherence and logic of the whole,
- understands longer speech, most radio and tv news, article and reportage on current issues,
- copes in conversations using learned phrases and expressions and applying grammatical rules,
- has the ability to substantively argue using the views of other authors and formulate conclusions,
- knows how to present his view on a selected topic giving arguments for and against,
- knows how to cooperate in a group, solve problems in discussion.
The subject realizes with varying degrees the following learning outcomes applicable to the student of the Institute of Roman Studies:
K_W01, K_W07 : knows the functions of language in complex situations of social and intercultural communication P
K_W08, K_W09 : knows grammatical, orthographic, lexical, semantic, phonological
and stylistic issues in French; knows the principles of analysis and interpretation of texts belonging to different styles of
functional styles of the French language
K_U03, K_U04 : recognize, analyze and interpret different types of cultural products (language, literature), using
adequate terminology and appropriate research methods and tools
K_U08, K_U10 : communicate orally and in writing in a second foreign language at B2 level according to the European
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
K_K01, K_K02 : be open-minded towards individual and cultural differences
K_K04, K_K06 : respect the basic principles of professional ethics and rules in the field of intellectual property protection

Active participation in classes, occurrence on a fixed topic, positive results of checking work
