W_01 The student knows and understands basic and selected advanced concepts in contemporary glottodidactics, in particular regarding multilingualism, plurilingual competence, intercultural competence, foreign language acquisition, and languages for specific purposes (LSP).
W_02 The student knows and understands the place of glottodidactics within the humanities, especially linguistics, and its connections with sociolinguistics, the psychology of learning, pedagogy, foreign language didactics, and intercultural communication research.
W_03 The student knows and understands the role of the first language and other known languages in the foreign language learning process, with a particular focus on the French language.
W_04 The student knows and understands the main factors influencing the foreign language learning process, including motivation, linguistic experiences, learning strategies, the learner's age, and the educational, professional, and social context.
W_05 The student knows and understands the specific characteristics of foreign language learning across different groups of learners, in particular adults, school students, and individuals operating in a multilingual and intercultural environment.

U_01 The student is able to analyze selected glottodidactic phenomena related to multilingualism, interculturality, foreign language learning, and the teaching of languages for specific purposes.
U_02 The student is able to use basic theoretical concepts from the fields of glottodidactics, linguistics, language acquisition, and intercultural communication to describe and interpret the foreign language learning process.
U_03 The student is able to recognize and describe learning strategies used by learners in a multilingual environment.
U_04 The student is able to analyze the role of the first language and other known languages in learning French, and to identify potential instances of language transfer, linguistic mediation, and the utilization of the learner's linguistic repertoire.
U_05 The student is able to conduct a needs analysis for foreign language learners in a professional or specific context and propose appropriate didactic solutions.
U_06 The student is able to analyze instances of intercultural misunderstandings, especially in educational and professional communication, and interpret them using concepts specific to glottodidactics and intercultural communication.
U_07 The student is able to independently search for, select, and critically utilize academic literature concerning multilingualism, interculturality, learning strategies, and languages for specific purposes.
U_08 The student is able to prepare a proposal for their own seminar paper: formulate the topic, research problem, objective, and research questions, select the relevant literature, and propose a research methodology.
U_09 The student is able to prepare an academic written text or oral presentation in Polish or French regarding a selected topic within contemporary glottodidactics.
U_10 The student is able to present their own academic stance, argue it with reference to the relevant literature, and participate in academic discussions regarding foreign language learning and teaching.
