Selected aspects of specialised language - Labour market 3304-1DX3O-PNJF-JS24

Curriculum: Translation exercises and improvement of language skills by creating glossaries based on the reading of parallel texts and subject literature, translation from Polish into French of press texts and documents related to the labor market, forms of employment, types of contracts, etc . Current newspaper articles and authentic documents are used for translation.

The ability to find vocabulary for translation, the ability to use specialized dictionaries and terminology databases, the use of terminology, the ability to correctly translate economic terms taking into account different contexts in Poland and France, the ability to translate an economic text from Polish into French, the practical application of the rules of French grammar in translation are developed.
