Selected aspects of a specialized language - Tourist French 3304-1DX3O-PNJF-JS11
Students will be familiarised with:
- typical forms of texts used in the tourism sector (dialogues, short presenting sights, etc.) in order to learn the language used in this field (politeness, lexis, etc.)
- with articles dealing with tourism and cultural issues in France and other French-speaking countries (depending on students' interests).
It is planned to undertake reflections on the place of tourism in French culture and the attitude of the French people to their national heritage in a contrastive perspective.

Requirements
- a positive mark for two tests;
- a short presentation on a selected aspect of the relationship between French and Polish culture (art, architecture, history etc.);
- autonomous preparation work for classes (reading texts and listening to recordings);
- active participation in classes.
In the case of the necessity of taking classes remotely, the above criteria are also maintained, but the form of active participation may take on a different character. Likewise, the form of the review papers and the project will be adapted to the form of the course and the technical possibilities.
