Learning outcomes
After completing the course with a positive result, the student will be able to formulate a short, consistent statement in French on the basis of the materials provided (press articles). He will also be able to use the French language to construct a coherent statement, while maintaining the appropriate form.
The subject gives the following learning outcomes.
K_W10 The student has the knowledge and the understanding of the functions of the French language within complex processes of social and intercultural communication.
K_U06 The Student can prepare a written work in French with the use of appropriate methodology.
K_U07 The student can prepare an oral presentation and can present own views in French and Polish.
K_U08 The student can communicate with the help of various channels and communicative strategies with specialists of selected branches of science.
K_U09 The student can commummunicate in French at B2+ level of CEFR scale.
K_K01 The student is ready to self-evalute the knowledge and skills critically.
K_K03 The student can adopt and promote an attitude of openness towards different cultures in the spirit of tolerance and plurality.
Assessment criteria
Communicative Language Teaching – CLT, group work
Continuous evaluation of the student's work.
To complete the semester, there are several requirements: systematic student's own work, active participation in classes and positive results from partial control tests, and works prepared at home.
During the semester:
2 oral presentations (prepared at home)
spontaneous speeches during the classes
2-3 written works
2-3 lexical tests
Class attendance is obligatory. Two absences are allowed.
