Practical English: Creative Writing 3300-PNJApt-MSF-2-ZP
During the course, students work on developing their own writing style, both in prose and poetry. In addition to practical exercises, they are also introduced to theoretical elements, such as the principles of character and plot development, which enable them to approach their own writing with greater awareness. Thanks to the workshop format of the classes, students have the opportunity to share their reflections and creative experiences, and to explore and shape their own authentic voices that resonate with readers.
Participants focus on writing poems and short stories. The classes cover the following topics: character building, plot structure, creating natural-sounding dialogue, narration, working with the sound devices in poetry, choosing the lyrical I of the poem, and creating poetic imagery in a purposeful way.
