Learning outcomes
Student knows:
a) basic notions in stylistics;
b) definitions and examples of functional styles;
c) differences between styles in Polish and English/German
Skills:
a) recognizes different functional styles of texts;
b) recognizes types and registers of special texts;
c) uses vocabulary typical for particular style
d) is aware of the translator/interpreter role in the intercultural communication
Assessment criteria
The English language:
- a student can be absent once without excuse
- final written test
The German language:
- a student can be absent teice without excuse
- marked presentation on confrontative analysis of particuar special text
