Writing academic texts in Ukrainian 3222-30PTU4K-N
The seminar aims to provide knowledge and practice necessary in the proper construction of the structure of scientific work, primarily in terms of the requirements of the bachelor's thesis and the research apparatus. The basic problems that arise in students when writing academic texts will be discussed: – selection and formulation of the topic
– timeliness of the research topic
– selection of literature and source material
– a way of building argumentation using literary concepts
– the subject of the research
– graphic design of scientific work
– construction of footnotes and bibliography.
The student's workload:
30 h – organized hours (1 ECTS)
60 h – student's independent work – preparation of fragments of bachelor's theses and / or articles (2 ECTS)
A total of 60 h – 3 ECTS.

Assessment criteria
Requirements for completing the course:
Attendance.
Control of running preparation.
Presentations of written scientific texts prepared by students.
Written credit with the grade, taking into account the preparation of a scientific text by the student in the amount of 5 pages in Ukrainian
Assessment criteria (percentage):
98% -100% - 5! (rating very good with exclamation mark)
94% - 97% - 5 (very good rating)
93% - 87% - 4+ (good plus rating)
86% - 78% - 4 (good score
77% - 69% - 3+ (rating plus)
68% - 60% (estimate sufficient)
Rating criteria:
- Achieving the embedded effects of embracing all essential
aspects - 5.0 (rating very good)
- Achieving the embedded effects of embracing all essential
aspects with a small number of whores or mischief - 4.5 (good score plus)
- Achieving the inherent effects of crystallization with the mention of some (less
istotnych) aspektów - 4.0 (rating of good)
- Achieving the inherent effects of crystallization with the mention of some essential
aspects with the same defects - 3.5 (rating plus)
- Achieving the inherent effects of crystallization with the mention of essential aspects
or with serious defects - 3.0 (rating plus)
- lack of realization of the set effects of shaping - 2.0 (insufficient assessment)
The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences, and each subsequent one requires making up for them during the office hours.
In the event of failing to pass the course by the last class of the semester, the student must pass the course and get a mark during the initial exam period or the retake exam period.
