Practical learning of the Russian language 3222-30PR4C-NF
The content of teaching is subordinated to the assumption of openness to the cognitive and communication needs of students and their intentions related to the possibility of acquiring a qualification necessary for a future profession or functioning in the country whose language they study. According to the information provided above, the classes include a series of practical exercises aimed at basic communication situations through which students acquire vocabulary and grammar rules of the language.
The aim of the course is also to train listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as to acquire and expand students' language competences in the following areas:
1. general understanding of written and spoken texts of various levels of difficulty
3.expressing the content learned in the classroom in a text or aural form, in grammatically correct oral and written statements
4. expressing one's opinion using the lexical resource and the information obtained during the classes;
5.conducting a conversation on topics taken from everyday life and in everyday situations, as well as the ability to prepare statements on simple topics (active participation in the discussion)
The knowledge of grammar rules provides: the ability to build grammatically correct sentences; the ability to correctly solve grammar and grammar-lexical exercises.
Student workload:
Contact hours - 30 hours - 1 ECTS
preparation for classes - 15 hours - 0.5 ECTS
Preparation for final credit- 15 hours. - 0.5 ECTS
Total: 60 hours - 2 ECTS
If it is not possible to conduct classes on university premises, classes shall be held with the aid of distance learning tools, most likely ZOOM and CLASSROOM and others recommended by the University of Warsaw.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- be able to speak Russian in accordance with the requirements specified for level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
(upon completion of the 6th semester of the 3rd year) K1_U14
- can independently plan and implement lifelong learning (K1_U11);
- can plan and organize work individually and in a team (K1_U12);
- is ready to critically evaluate the knowledge and content received
(K1_K01).
Assessment criteria
Conditions for admission to the final (written) credit:
- attendance;
- control of the current preparation;
- passing control tests and translation tests;
- credit for group and individual projects.
Assessment criteria are presented in the form of percentage thresholds (points obtained from passing):
99-100% - 5 !(ocena bardzo dobra z wykrzyknikiem)
93- 98 % - 5 (ocena bardzo dobra)
87-92% - 4+ (ocena dobra plus)
77-86% - 4 (ocena dobra)
70-76% - 3+ (ocena dostateczna plus)
60-69% - 3 (ocena dostateczna)
If the credit will be taken remotely, it is possible to change the form to oral.
The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences, each subsequent one requires justification.
The student has the right to obtain a credit in the resit session in the same form as in the basic session and on the condition of obtaining a credit for the subject.
