The aim of the course is to provide students with extensive language practice (listening, speaking, reading and writing) at the B2+ level of English.

Conditions for passing the course and evaluation components:
continuous, formative assessment (control of the current preparation):
- control and translation tests - 25%
- group and individual presentations - 25%
- final test grade - 50%
Written test evaluation:
60% - 68% - 3 (satisfactory)
69% - 77% - 3+ (satisfactory plus)
78% - 86% - 4 (good)
87% - 95% - 4+ (good plus)
96% - 98% - 5 (very good)
99% -100% - 5! (Very good rating with an exclamation mark)
Prerequisite for passing the course/classes: attendance.
A student is entitled to 2 unexcused absences, each subsequent absence requires an excuse. Recognition of absences is at the discretion of the lecturer.
The form of credit for classes in which the student has been absent is determined by the lecturer.
Exceeding excused and unexcused absences in 50% of classes may be grounds for failing the course.
