Development of communicative competence in Russian 3222-30KKKJR3C-NF
The content of teaching is subordinated to the assumption of openness to the cognitive and communication needs of students and their intentions related to the possibility of acquiring a qualification necessary for a future profession or functioning in the country whose language they study. According to the information provided above, the classes include a series of practical exercises aimed at basic communication situations through which students acquire vocabulary and grammar rules of the language.
The aim of the course is also to train listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as to acquire and expand students' language competences in the following areas:
1. general understanding of written and spoken texts of various levels of difficulty
3.expressing the content learned in the classroom in a text or aural form, in grammatically correct oral and written statements
4. expressing one's opinion using the lexical resource and the information obtained during the classes;
5.conducting a conversation on topics taken from everyday life and in everyday situations, as well as the ability to prepare statements on simple topics (active participation in the discussion)
The knowledge of grammar rules provides: the ability to build grammatically correct sentences; the ability to correctly solve grammar and grammar-lexical exercises.
Student workload:
Contact hours (in the room) - 30 hours - 1 ECTS
preparation for classes - 15 hours - 0.5 ECTS
Preparation for final work - 15 hours. - 0.5 ECTS
Total: 60 hours - 2 ECTS

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- can independently plan and implement lifelong learning (K1_U11);
- can plan and organize work individually and in a team (K1_U12);
- can communicate with the use of various channels and communication techniques in Russian (K1_U13);
- is ready to critically evaluate the knowledge and content received
(K1_K01).
Assessment criteria
Conditions for passing the course and admission to the final written credit text:
- attendance in class;
- control of current preparation;
- completion of group and individual projects.
The final test is in written form.
Assessment criteria are presented in the form of percentage thresholds (points conversion):
99-100% - 5 !(grade very good with exclamation mark)
93- 98% - 5 (very good grade)
87-92% - 4+ (good plus grade)
77-86% - 4 (good grade)
70-76% - 3+ (mark satisfactory plus)
60-69% - 3 (sufficient grade)
The final grade consists of:
- continuous, formative assessment (activity, preparation for classes, control tests, projects) - 30%
- final assessment test - 70%.
Students are allowed up to 2 unexcused absences, each additional absence requires an excuse. Exceeding the allowed number of unexcused absences from classes requires an additional oral answer credit before taking the final test.
A student has the right to take a written test in a make-up session in the same form as in the core session and subject to obtaining credit for the course.
Exceeding excused and unexcused absences in 50% of classes may be the basis for failing the course.
