Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- knows temporal and spatial constraints characteristic of subtitling, including subtitling for the deaf and the hard of hearing
- can create subtitling for the deaf and the hard of hearing using professional subtitling software
- knows the rules of creating audio description
- can write AD scripts to Polish and foreign films
- understands the needs of AD and SDH target groups regarding AVT
- is more sensitive to the needs of visually- and hearing-impaired viewers with regard to accessibility to AVT
