MA seminar - Spanish language 3200-M2-SEMH
The course is a continuation of the MA seminar offered in the summer semester in Year 1 of the MA programme. Its aim is assisting
students in writing their MA dissertation, which is an extensive theoretical and empirical study in a selected subdiscipline of applied
linguistics. The contents of the course evolve around practicing the skills of writing academic texts in a foreign language as well as of
participating in oral academic communication. Students also develop proficiency in preparing and delivering academic presentations.
Participants can improve their skills in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods in their empirical projects. They also have an
opportunity to develop their skills in critically evaluating the literature in preparation for their thesis.
FORMS OF WORK:
If classroom learning is impossible, the workshop will be conducted with the help of distance communication tools, most probably Google Meet and others recommended by the University.
