Monographic lecture on linguistics 3200-M2-0WMJ
The course program includes an overview of theoretical issues and scientific research results in the field of linguistics.
The lecture prepares students for the master's exam in linguistics.
It presents selected issues, knowledge of which:
- broadens the student's knowledge in a selected field,
- provides guidance on choosing an appropriate research methodology,
- provides information enabling the student to embark on independent research work, in this case to help them to develop the skills necessary to write a master's thesis in a given field.
Students are encouraged to read the supplementary literature on the subject.

Skills - the graduate can:
K2_U01 use the acquired knowledge to conduct research in the field of linguistics using the appropriate methodology

K2_U05 use advanced linguistics research tools and choose research methods appropriate to the problems undertaken
K2_U07 communicate in native and foreign languages in various professional situations with specialists, using various channels and techniques and communication strategies
K2_U08 express their own views and opinions in oral and written form in foreign languages and in their native language and present the views and arguments of third parties in foreign languages and in their native language
K2_U11 independently acquire knowledge in the field of linguistics and assess the usefulness of learned methods, practices and procedures in their own professional activities
