Selected issues from the literature of the language area B 3200-M1-2WZLBC
The course aims to give the student a better understanding of the literature of a selected language area (with respect to a given topos/topic/methodological framework etc., in a synchronic or a diachronic overview). The course will also further the student’s analytical and interpretative thinking and their understanding of the mechanics of methodology.
Given the seminar nature of the course, the student is expected to take active part and show their initiative (participating in debates, searching for materials, preparing a presentation on a given topic etc). Gained knowledge and skills should be relevant to pinpointing the student’s research interests and the topic of an MA thesis.
Detailed course programmes are designed by instructors in individual language groups.
Student effort:
30 hours – class attendance (1 ECTS)
20 godzin – self-study: reading and analysing required texts, preparing for the final test (1 ECTS)
