Psychology - integrated workshops 3200-L2-0PSYCH-WZ
The course program covers topics essential for effective foreign language teaching, including, among others:
familiarization with and practical use of communication tools in the school environment,
recognition and understanding of developmental and emotional processes,
broadening awareness of one's own social and emotional functioning.

Knowledge:
Has knowledge of the subject-specific and methodological aspects of psychology, which they are able to develop and creatively apply in professional activities (K_W01)
Knows terminology in the field of general psychology (K_W02)
Has knowledge of contemporary achievements, research centers, and schools, covering selected areas within psychology (K_W06)
Skills:
Can independently acquire knowledge and expand their research skills, as well as undertake autonomous actions aimed at developing abilities and managing their own professional career (K_U03)
Has the ability to argue substantively using their own views and those of other authors, formulate conclusions, and create synthetic summaries (K_U06)
Social Competences:
Can cooperate and work in a group, taking on various roles (including the role of teacher and/or translator) (K_K01)
Can appropriately set priorities to accomplish tasks defined by themselves or others (K_K03)
Assessment criteria
Two (2) absences per semester are allowed.
The course concludes with a written exam.
Grading scale:
55%-69% = 3
70%-74% = 3+
75%-84% = 4
85%-89% = 4+
90%-100% = 5
