From music history issues 3106-ZAHIM-KON
The classes are monographic in nature. Their subject matter, although it may vary, should generally concern issues related to
research on the broadly understood history of music from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, from a modern methodological point of view and in line with the most
the most recent findings in this sphere. The aim of this course is to bring students closer to the most important trends in current research on the
history of music, to present the latest research methods in the history of music, and against this background - to present the latest achievements of the
lecturers of the Institute of Musicology of the University of Warsaw in this area. The classes are designed to nurture the classically understood historical musicology
at the graduate level. The selection of topics depends on the lecturer's own ideas.
