Music, health and wellbeing 1 3106-MZD1-F
The subject exploring the relationship between music, health and well-
being. Classes with elements of lecture and workshops divided into
thematic blocks with assigned tasks for students, including an
educational- therapeutic project at the "JESTEM" Foundation supporting
people with oncological diseases. Some classes will be held outside the
Institute of Musicology at the foundation's headquarters (Warsaw,
Sławkowska St. 8) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 12:00 to 1
p.m. (the exact date will be set at the beginning of the semester).

Assessment criteria
- Activity and attendance at classes (two unexcused absences allowed)
- Finding and discussing a clinical case (or other) of the influence of
music on the patient's well-being,
- Implementation of a project for the foundation's beneficiaries (including
preparation of a detailed outline of classes).
