Prerequisites (description)
The course aims to familiarize students with the basic knowledge of music sources and ways to use this knowledge when preparing critical music editions.
Prerequisites: musicological knowledge at the undergraduate level (no BA in musicology is required), the ability to apply it to a critical evaluation of the text and musical notation.
Assessment criteria
Pass conditions: active participation in classes and own description of a selected source, agreed with the lecturers.
