Introduction: Is Polish spelling difficult?
Spelling: Uppercase and lowercase spelling. Conjunctive and separable spelling.
Abbreviations. Abbreviations and derived words (spelling and punctuation).
Punctuation: Punctuation in a simple sentence (comparisons, additions, interjections – vocatives; modulators). Punctuation in a complex sentence: coordinate and subordinate. Colon, hyphen (dash), en dash. Quotation marks. Period after ordinal numbers. Enumerations. Punctuation in captions under illustrations. Punctuation in greetings and farewells. Punctuation in letters (private and official): heading and conclusion. Most important non-letter characters: hyphen, slash, apostrophe, space.
Geographical names and derivatives: spelling and declination
Surnames: spelling, declination, and declination.

Assessment criteria
Passing all homework (using Google Clasroom or platform Kampus) and tests (at the level of at least 60%). Passing the final test (at least 60% level). Two absences per semester are allowed. Above this number (except for immediately documented cases, e.g. sick leave) - it is not possible to pass the classes. Excused extra absences must be made up in the manner indicated by the person conducting the classes.
Student work schedule:
participation in classes: 30 hours (1 ECTS)
preparation for exercises and assessment: 30 hours (1 ECTS)
performing tasks, works, tests and other activities: 30 hours (1 ECTS)
The use of artificial intelligence systems to perform tasks and works, their correction and editing is prohibited.
