Learning outcomes
The student
In the range of knowledge
- defines various theatrical forms of antiquity,
- characterizes the diffrences and similarities between the Greek and Roman theatre,
- describes the works of the ancient authors presented during the classes.
In the range of abilities
- recognizes presented forms of the ancient theatre,
- analyzes them and interprets the ancient drama using the basis critical terminology and appropite methods
in the range of social competences
- describes the level of their knowledge,
- appreciate the legacy of the ancient culture,
- cooperates in a group,
- discusses in public.
Assessment criteria
The classes have a form of a seminar, the students should read texts (articles, fragments of monographies) earlier pointed and prepered by the teacher, the chosen students prepare the introduction to the classes after which the discussion follows. The mark is given on basis of student’s preparing to the classes, activity during them and the exam.
