Ancient History, Semester II (Exercises) 2900-LZ-HS-C2
Classes will be based on source analysis and discussion on a given topic, earlier prepared by students.
Topics of subsequent classes are given in lecturers' syllabus'.
For each of given topics, sources and reference books are provided.
Students individually prepare the topic what teaches them the bases scientific research and scientific work on the Ancient history.
In each of the groups, chosen topics vary a little, students work with different texts. However, all students commence their study with Homer and are introduced to all kinds of sources.
From time to time, students prepare small lecture presenting either specific sources or critical works. Everybody reads chosen by the lecturer , reference books and sources.
Students are assessed on the basis of : in-class activity, discussion activity, class preparation.
