Advanced criticism of various types of sources relevant to history with elements of criticism of archaeological sources and studies on culture, on
which the study of ancient history is based; selected aspects of history and culture; getting acquainted with the state of research on selected
issues in the field of ancient history and various methodological trends; deepening knowledge of sources; introduction to work in a research team
and preparation of scholarly texts; conducting a scholarly discussion and summarizing its results; critically assessing scholarly papers and
criticizing the arguments of other scholars, as well as accepting constructive criticism; becoming acquainted with ethical problems related to the study of a given issue and the standards applicable in scientific work, including the principles of intellectual property protection.
