The class complements and broadens the lecture. It covers the problems of geography of the Roman Empire, Roman mythology and religion, town planning, the topography of the city of ancient Rome, resources and the building techniques, the architectural orders, the main types of public and private buildings, the sepulchral architecture, the achievements of Roman engineering (aqueducts, bridges, roads).
The participants will also learn some basic skills, useful in further studies
