Archeology of Greece (lecture) 2800-PO-AGI-W
The winter semester is the first part of the course Archeology of Greece. Its subject will be the Stone Age (in short) and the Bronze Age, i.e. the cultures existing around the Aegean Sea: Cycladic, Helladic (including Mycenaean), Minoan and Trojan. The classes are intended to introduce the most important sites, products of art and material culture of these cultures, show the processes of social or political transformation, burial customs, the place of these cultures among the civilizations of the Eastern Mediterranean.
The meetings will be primarily in the form of a lecture, but with the active participation of the audience, whose task will be to complement the lecture with independently prepared details.

Assessment criteria
The basis for the credit will be: activity during classes, making small presentations to complement the lecture, test of the knowledge contained in the lecture and student speeches.
