Changes in the education system. Ethics teaching profession 2700-P3ZSEEZN-PSB
As part of the above mentioned goals will be discussed the following topics:
- Development of accessibility to the different types of education (primary, secondary, university, vocational) in Poland and Europe,
- Main currents of reform in the contemporary primary and secondary education
- Neoliberalism (neoconservatism, the New Right) and the ideology of educational reform in developed countries.
- The development of private education in England, New Zealand and the USA.
- Economic and socio-cultural context of changes in education. Ideology and ethics of the teaching profession in postmodern societies.
- Reform of education in England in 1988 as an exemplification of free-market reforms in Anglo-Saxon countries, the English educational reform from the perspective of social ethics
- An elite path of education of public and private (France, UK, USA) and the consequent moral dilemmas regarding equal access to education.
- Changes in the system of higher education and the "welfare state", including the problem "center and periphery", changes in the sphere of values - to the "knowledge society, the changing role of the teacher and social functions.

KNOWLEDGE
The listener knows the stages of development of different types of schools in Poland and in selected countries of Western Europe. He understands the importance of further reform of education in the progress of civilization and social state. Can replace various types of educational cultural models. Compares workshop, powers and responsibilities of teachers in selected European countries. For some examples, explains the ethical changes in the teaching profession. Can indicate the reasons for the evaluation of teaching.
SKILLS:
Applies analytical and logical thinking. Replaces 'adaptive' understanding and perceptions of reality socio-educational thinking for the anticipatory analysis.
SOCIAL COMPETENCEi:
The listener can build open relationships with other participants in the course, actively listen, participate in the discussion.
