Book market for children and youth 2700-P3RKDM-PSB
The course program includes the presentation of the main issues related to market books for children and young people shown in the background of the entire Polish book market. These are the most important phenomena and processes (technological, economic, legal) shaping this branch of the market. They are presented statistical data from recent years (including the number of published books or market share of different types of publishers and distributors). The object of attention is also offering contemporary book for children and teenagers - the most important authors, the dominant variety of genres in literature for young readers, the range of problems discussed in their proper books, profiles of individual publishers. Speech is also on the promotion of children's books, literary awards, the sources of knowledge of modern publishing offer.
