• The nature and main elements of the process of changes in financing cultural institutions after 1989 and the current state of affairs.
• The ethical aspect of the involvement of cultural institutions in the area of services and commercial activities.
• Resources at the disposal of cultural institutions, significant from the point of view of commercial activities.
• Concept of cultural tourism and discuss the related opportunities and threats for institutions and the region. An example of an important Polish cultural institution, actively involved in domestic and foreign tourism, will be presented.
• Building relationships with entities operating in the enterprise sector in terms of sponsorship or partnership cooperation.
• Spectrum of commercial activities carried out by cultural institutions (on the example of selected museums) and will discuss the principles that should guide these institutions when carrying out individual activities.

Will become familiar with theoretical issues, but mainly with the practical dimension of the commercial activity of a cultural institution, incl. with the opportunities and threats of such activities, the basic principles and a wide range of commercial activities.

Can define priorities for the implementation of tasks defined by himself or others, goals of the cultural heritage institutions and their mission.
