Multimedia 2700-M-LM-D3MULTI
The course covers preparation for the online representation of multimedia with the use of tools for their registration, editing and publication. The result is the creation of your own website on the topic chosen by the student.
The course covers the structure of multimedia materials and the various stages of production - from the idea, through the script, to implementation with the use of specialized software and publication on a selected platform.
The student gets to know the structure of online communication, especially the issues of practical application of web usability, web accessibility and information architecture.
Designs its own website in accordance with the principles of appropriate layout, graphic and multimedia elements.
Learns the basics necessary for self-registration of video materials, taking into account the basics of the film language - correct framing and editing. Learns the basics of audio recording with the appropriate preparation of online publications.
Prepares graphic designs (static and animations) in terms of their technical requirements for publication on their own website.
He gets acquainted with the creation of a video storyboard and its cost estimate.
In groups, he prepares an interactive multimedia presentation, where he learns the role of a storyboard and the importance of audio-video synchronization with the actions of the show participant (widemapping).
The student independently manages the publishing platform, where he places his own website with elements designed and made during the course.
Online publication should include:
- preparation (editing) of the text compliant with the network requirements and standards (titles, headings, body text),
- static images (editing) in accordance with the parameters of the platform used in the project,
- sound (editing) in the form of a podcast to be listened to on the website,
- video (editing) edited according to the script and maintaining the basics of the film language,
- animations (editing) in the form of cinematography and animated gif compliant with the requirements of the web platform,
- timelaps (edition) in line with the thematic requirements of the project,
- independently selected multimedia, its edition and adaptation to the website requirements.

Elements from the area of knowledge:
The graduate has knowledge of the methods, techniques and tools for the production and editing of multimedia materials. Learns the importance of web usability and web accessibility for a network project. Has knowledge of creating an online site information architecture. Has knowledge of the basics of the film language, its description (script) and production cost estimate. He knows the basics of videomapping.

- designing the message using offline and online tools,
- preparation for publication on the internet platform.
The graduate is competent to plan a multimedia project, work individually and in a team on such projects. This facilitates his start to work in the media.
Assessment criteria
Continuous assessment and passing the project published on the Internet. Required meeting requirements min. 66 percent. Detailed conditions and requirements published on the subject page. Class attendance is compulsory. Inability to improve the positive grade.
