Digital technologies in documentation and collection management 2700-M-IN-Z1TCD-OZB
The course will examine the evolution of documenting and digitization standards in cultural institutions and analysis of the ever-increasing possibilities of digital library, museum and archival documentation. In addition, the analysis of ever-expanding software requirements and qualification of the description. Students will learn the available programs for digitization and documentation of collections used in libraries, museums and archives.

Absolwent zna i rozumie:
The graduate knows and understands:
- general principles of harvest management, principles of intellectual property management in research work, information services with respect to the Copyright and Related Rights Act and basic knowledge of computer (K_W06)
- in a deeper way, the rules of cultural institutions related to the protection and making available of cultural heritage (K_W08)
A graduate can:
- acquire necessary information necessary to solve problems, formulate and analyze them, select methods and tools of their solution using the knowledge of bibliology and informatics and related disciplines relevant to the field of study (K_U02)
The graduate is ready to
- using technology and IT tools with awareness of their variability, conducting a critical assessment of the various types of institutions, facilities and information and library services (K_K01)
